As an artist, I feel a huge responsibility for the products I put out into the world. There’s already far too much unnecessary waste ending up in landfill, and I don’t want my business to add to the problem.
That’s why I’ve made a commitment to keep my packaging completely plastic-free, using only eco-friendly materials that are 100% recyclable or compostable. When you order from me, you can feel good knowing that every part of the packaging, from the box to the tape, can go straight into your recycling or compost bin. It’s my way of helping you enjoy guilt-free shopping while protecting the planet we all share.
Thoughtfully Sourced Materials
I work with a range of UK-based suppliers to source sustainable materials that do two important jobs:
Protect Your Artwork – keeping it safe and secure in transit.
Protect the Planet – ensuring it leaves behind as little waste as possible.
Here’s what I use:
Sturdy Postal Boxes/sheets of cardboard
Made from brown recyclable cardboard
Keeps your prints safe and flat during delivery
Break down easily and pop straight into your paper recycling
Plastic-Free Kraft Tape
Fully recyclable paper parcel tape
No need to peel off before recycling — just put the whole box in your paper bin
Woodpulp Natureflex Film & stickers
Looks and feels like plastic, but it’s made from sustainably sourced woodpulp
Acid-free, so it protects fine art prints from water damage
Fully compostable at home (just don’t recycle it — compost instead!)
Sellotape Zero Plastic
Made from natural, renewable materials: cellulose film + plant-based glue
100% compostable, just pop it straight in your home compost bin along with the Natureflex film
No separating needed, it will biodegrade completely
