Here you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about ordering a pet portrait commission.

Can you draw more than one pet in the same portrait?

Yes, absolutely, but only on certain sizes.

How long does it take to complete a portrait?

I usually complete commissions within two weeks, often sooner depending on the size and number of subjects.

How much does a portrait cost?

Please click here for prices.

Do I get to see a preview before it’s finished?

Yes! I want you to be completely happy with your portrait before payment. I’ll share progress photos as I work, and you’re always welcome to share feedback at any stage.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, they make a lovely, thoughtful gift.

Are custom sizes available?

The sizes I offer are based on standard frame sizes from most retailers, but I’m always happy to accommodate custom requests. Sometimes the photo naturally determines the best proportions, and I’ll suggest what will work best for your portrait.

What payment methods do you accept?

At the moment, I accept payment via bank transfer (details are shared by email).

Can I collect my portrait in person?

Yes, of course, just let me know when you’d like to collect it.

Can you draw from old or low-quality photos?

Unfortunately not. Poor-quality photos make it difficult to capture your pet accurately, so I only work from clear, detailed images to ensure the best result.

Can I commission a portrait that includes a person too?

Possibly , it depends on the photo. Feel free to send it over and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
